Charity Auction Raises Over £2,000 for MCF

Charity auction 2026

A charity auction at Barnsley Masonic Hall, Cockerham Lane, Barnsley, has raised £2,039 for the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF). It was a fantastic afternoon. The generosity shown by everyone involved was truly inspiring.

The event was organised by several lodges across the South Yorkshire area. It brought together brethren and supporters from across the region. The collaboration between lodges made the afternoon a great success.

A wide variety of items went under the hammer. There was something to appeal to everyone. Local businesses donated some excellent auction prizes. Their support made a huge difference to the final total raised.

Bidding was enthusiastic throughout the afternoon. The charity auction saw some great competition for the prizes on offer. Every bid counted, and it showed. The generosity of those attending was remarkable.

The £2,039 raised will go directly to the MCF. The foundation provides vital support to Freemasons, their families, and the wider community. It helps those in need in a very real and practical way.

Thank you to all the lodges who organised the event. Thank you also to the businesses who donated prizes. Most of all, thank you to everyone who came along and bid so generously. We look forward to more successful fundraising events in the future.
